RF Puncture System

Baylis Medical Radiofrequency (RF) Puncture Generator (RFP-100)

The RFP-100 Radiofrequency (RF) Puncture Generator is designed to deliver RF energy to compatible devices.

The RFP-100 RF Puncture Generator is designed specifically to make a controlled puncture in tissue while causing little to no damage to surrounding tissue. The difference being that mechanical force is not required to push accross the septum.

The closure rate of the transseptal puncture with RF is similar to that of the a mechanical needle.

Rx only. Before use, consult product labels and inserts for any indications, contraindications, hazards, warnings, cautions and instructions for use.

BMC Catheter Connector Cable (RFP-102)

A specifically designed push-lock system allows for a quick and secure connection between the NRG RF Transseptal Needle and the RF Puncture Generator.

BMC Footswitch Pedal (PMA-FS)

The optional footswitch pedal allows the physician to directly control the application of RF energy from the RFP-100 RF Puncture Generator.

Grounding Pad

A disposable grounding pad acts a return for the RF energy. The grounding pads are available in both pediatric and adult sizes.

Test Box (RFP-100-TB)

The test box allows the user to test the RFP-100 RF Generator. This pre-emptive maintenance tool functions as a complete circuit to allow for troubleshooting.

The RFP-100 generator is very easy to use offering three windows displaying Time, Power and Impedance. The recommended parameters are to be set at 2 Seconds and 10 Watts. The RFP-100 has two front connections; one for the connector cable and one for the grounding pad.
